Candelaria Maxine Madrid

Candelaria “Candy” Madrid passed away October 22nd due to a sudden tragedy.


Candy was born August 8th 1964 in Phoenix, Arizona to Helen Madrid. Candy attended Carl Hayden High school in Phoenix. Shortly after she moved to California and started a family with her life partner Virgil Wilson until his passing in 2012. Candy devoted her life to her children.


Candy attended St.Francis Church. Candy is survived by her 8 children; Conrado Madrid, Stephanie Madrid , Shaquille Wilson, Dykstra Wilson, Gelonnie Madrid , Hakeem Madrid , Idazwia Wilson, and Jarret Reed, her mother Helen and sisters.


Besides spending time with her family and friends, Candy had a passion for talking and could make just about anyone smile or laugh. She had a bright and energetic personality and was known for always giving and doing for

others.


Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life memorial on Friday November 12,2021 beginning at 10:30 at St. Francis Church 900 H street.
