Liz was born August 17th 1963 in Port Washington, Wi to Gerry and Donna Mroz. When Liz was little her family moved to California, settling in east Bakersfield where Liz grew up and graduated in 1981 from Foothill High School. A few years later she met the love of her life, James, who she married in 1988. Together they moved to Las Vegas where Liz enjoyed calling BINGO, and later becoming the executive secretary to the president of the Circus Circus Casino Corporation. In 1998 Liz and James returned to Bakersfield where they raised their three kids and built a wonderful life. Liz was known for her love of cooking, her quick wit, her giving and willingness to care for others, doting on her grand babies, and her love of Christmas. On November 25th 2022 Liz left this world to celebrate her favorite time of year in the best place possible with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her brother Mark Mroz, her parents Gerry and Donna Mroz, daughter Megan Andrews, and her father in law James E. Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 34 years James S. Wilson, daughter Amber and Husband Brandon Corbell, sons Jeffrey and Wife Lena Wilson, and Randy and Wife Sheree Benson, granddaughters Giana, Topanga, MaKenna, Joanna, and Savanna, grandsons Ezekiel, Benjamin, Jude, and Josiah, mother in law Zona Wilson, sisters Shyann Andino, Therese Hogue, and Desi Matthews, numerous nieces and nephews, and amazing friends. 

Viewing for Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Wilson will be Wednesday December 7, 2022 from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM at Alma Funeral Home Chapel 2130 E. California Ave, Bakersfield, CA

Celebration Of Life Service will be Thursday December 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Crossroads Christian Fellowship 2500 Fairfax Rd, Bakersfield, CA and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park 2:00 PM
