Evan Robert Bridwell

Former KUZZ program director and DJ KC Adams is being remembered as a soft spoken guy who loved his work. Fellow employee and long time friend Jeff Woods says Adams, whose real name is Evan Bridwell, always tried to treat his listeners like another broadcaster he admired. "Evan was one of those guys, who like Vin Scully for the Dodgers, when we would have meetings in his office,he would bring it up sometimes, He'd say, "You know what? You need to connect. You need to talk to them, not at them." Bridwell and Woods were both hired by the late Buck Owens in 1983, but Birdwell retired in November. He died Sunday morning at the age of 59. Per the request of Evan "KC Adams" no services will beheld his request is only to return to Alabama for burial near his family.
