Jerry Edward Gonzalez Sr. May 8, 1952 - November 27, 2018 Our beloved father, grandfather and brother Jerry Edward Gonzalez Sr. has gone to be with the Lord above. Jerry is preceded in death by his beloved wife Clotilde L. Gonzalez, mother Esperanza M. Hernandez, father Frank P. Gonzalez, brothers David M. Gonzalez, Zenaido M. Hernandez, Frank M. Placencio, and Mario M. Gonzalez. He is survived by his children Latichia D. Terry, Jerry E. Gonzalez Jr, Anita M. Castruita and Shari A. Gonzalez. Grandchildren Joseph De La Rosa, Olivia Gonzalez, Agustin De La Rosa, Alexis Gonzalez, MacKenzie Gonzalez and Alfred Gomez, Great grand Children Joseph De La Rosa Jr. and Rosalina De La Rosa. Siblings, Manuel Gonzalez, Esperanza Page, Yolanda Munoz, Betty Castenada, Jose Y. Hernandez, Mary Hernandez, Juanita Hernandez and Jose L. Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Thursday December 6, 2018 from 6pm 9pm at Alma Funeral Home located at 2130 E. California Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93307. Graveside services will be held at 1pm on December 7, 2018 at Hillcrest Cemetery located at 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. A reception will follow the graveside services at 3pm at Columbus Street Baptist Church fellowship hall located at 714 Columbus Street, Bakersfield, CA 93305.
