Kathleen Marie Garrett

Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Garrett went to be with the lord on June 29, 2026. She spent her last days just as she wanted- surrounded by her close family members at home. Kathy was born on January 23, 1948 in Bakersfield, CA to her mother Johanna Marion Ann Bassill and father Vernon Norvan Goff. She graduated from South High in 1966 and went on to drive school buses in Bakersfield. She ended her career in transportation at the Jamison Center before retiring in 2015. Her love for her family and the 49ers will never be forgotten. Kathy is survived by all 3 of her sons Michael Scott Roberts, Jarrod Ray Gentry, Bryce William Gentry and her step children Tracy VanCuren and Carrie Morgan and Jon Gentry. She’s also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Ashlynn Gardner, Alyssa Roberts, Haley Roberts, Jacob Cotton, Joelie Gentry, Jack Gentry, Joseph Gentry, Halle Griffin, Jayden Griffin, Peytan Gardner, Landyn Gardner, Camdyn Gardner, and Lilly Murphy.
