Margarita was born on November 15, 1931, in Rancho Guadalupe, Municipal Villa Morelos, Michoacán, Mexico, was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by love, resilience, and dedication. She was the beloved daughter of Francisco Hernandez and Teodora Guillen and grew up in a nurturing environment that instilled strong values in her.

In 1953, Margarita married Ruben Avila Jimenez in their hometown of Rancho Guadalupe. Together, they built a loving family, and Margarita embraced her role as a devoted mother to nine children. Throughout her life, she worked tirelessly, often harvesting food to provide for her family during challenging times.

Margarita's journey brought her to the United States, where she lived in Bakersfield, California. For several years, she worked in the fields as an agricultural laborer, harvesting grapes. showcasing her unwavering determination and work ethic.

A woman of deep faith, Margarita attended the Catholic Church and cherished the practice of praying the rosary. Her spirituality was a source of strength that guided her through life's many obstacles.

Margarita had a profound love for travel, frequently visiting family in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Utah, and her native Mexico. These travels allowed her to maintain close connections with her loved ones, which she valued greatly.

Throughout her life, Margarita faced numerous challenges, yet she approached each one with strength and perseverance. Her legacy is one of resilience and love, and she will be remembered as a strong lady who overcame every obstacle with grace.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francico Hernandez and Teodora Guillen; her husband, Ruben Avila; her brothers and sisters, Elena Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Moises Herandez, Moises Hernandez, Concepcion Hernandez, Maria Corona and Bardobeano Hernandez; and one granddaughter, Maria Corona.

She is survived by children, Maria Salud Avila, Benacio Avila, Maria Trinidad Avila, Jesus Avila, Ricardo Avila, Jose Avila, Maria Avila, Maria Vicenta Avila and Maria Guadalupe Avila; her sister, Dioselina Hernandez; fifty grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and five great, great, grandchildren.
